FANZIGIF est un zine numérique consacré au GIF et plus largement à l’animation. L’idée est de rassembler des artistes autour d’un thème, qu’ielles soient principalement ou occasionnellement animateur.ice.s. Le format epub3 permet de mettre en valeur ces travaux inédits. FANZIGIF, comme l’ensemble du catalogue de Bancal Editions, se veut un espace supplémentaire pour partager l’art numérique, parallèlement aux réseaux sociaux et au web. C’est un zine à feuilleter sur écran !

FANZIGIF is a digital zine dedicated to GIF and more broadly to animation. The idea is to bring together artists around a theme, whether they are mainly or occasionally animators. The epub 3 highlights these unpublished works. FANZIGIF, like the entire Bancal Editions catalog, is intended as an additional space to share digital art, alongside social networks and the web. It's a zine to flip through on screen !

Pour ce premier numéro, le thème est un vers de la poétesse américaine Anne Sexton (1928-1974) figure de la poésie dite “confessionnaliste”. Il s’agit de l’ouverture du poème “The Room of My Life”. Les neuf artistes internationaux ont interprété librement l’extrait pour réaliser des pièces inédites.

For this first issue, the theme is a verse by the American poet Anne Sexton (1928-1974), a figure of “confessional” poetry. This verse is the opening of the poem "The Room of My Life". Nine international artists freely interpreted the extract to create original pieces.
